Marriage or registered partnership

Are you married or in a registered partnership? Your partner will be entitled to a partner’s pension if you die.

What should you do?
Your partner is automatically entitled to partner’s pension. However, your partner’s details must be known to the pension fund. Otherwise, we cannot pay your partner.

• Do you live in the Netherlands?
  The municipality you live in will notify us of your partner’s details. You do not need to register your partner with the pension fund.
• Do you live abroad?
  To register your partner with the pension fund, please contact us.
