Leaving the company
If you move to another job or you become unemployed, what happens to your pension?
What should you do?
Nothing, your employer will cancel your participation. Your salary will cease and you will no longer pay any pension contributions to this pension fund. You will receive a letter from us. It will show you how much pension you have accrued with us and what will happen to it.
What else can you arrange?
- Are you changing employer and moving to another pension fund or pension insurer? Then you can move your ‘old’ pension to your new pension plan. This is called transfer of accrued pension benefits.
- Is your pension small? Then the pension fund is allowed to commute this amount.
